Before you start
Why a spec first?
Because it is what lets us fix the price. One to three pages: what gets built, what does not, how we will both know it is done. You have a week to change it; then it is fixed.
Do I have to get on a call?
No. The brief is three questions and everything after runs in writing, with short video walkthroughs. A call is there if you want one.
What if something changes halfway?
Small changes are quoted as an add-on before we do them. Anything bigger becomes its own package.
Who does the work?
José Lucas, our founder, from the first message to sign-off. Goudplevier is deliberately small for now, so the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. As the team grows, you will meet anyone new before they touch your work.
Who owns what we make?
You do. Everything is handed over to you on delivery: code, designs, documents and data, with accounts and licences in your name.
Your tools or ours?
Your choice. We can work inside your tools and accounts from day one, or use ours and transfer everything to you at the end.
