The service
Goudplevier Ltd ("we") provides product, analysis, design, build and automation work, priced as three packs (Sort it, Build it and Launch it) and as reserved days. Each piece of work starts with a written estimate agreed with you.
The estimate
The estimate names the pack, sets out what will be delivered, what is not included, what we need from you and the delivery date. Once you agree it, its price is fixed. If the work takes us longer than estimated, that is our cost, not yours. If it takes less, the price still stands.
Changes
Anything you ask for that is not in the estimate is estimated first, in half days at £300 + VAT, and only done once you agree. For Build it and Launch it, a short spec follows in the first week and you have three working days to change it.
Payment
Sort it, a Discovery Day and Small Changes are paid in full when you agree. Build it and Launch it are paid half when you agree and half at sign-off. You can pay by card, or against a purchase order on 14-day terms. A Discovery Day is taken off the pack if you agree one within 30 days. Reserved days and Care are invoiced monthly in advance; reserved days have a three-month minimum and then 30 days' notice. All prices exclude VAT, which is added at 20%.
Delivery and sign-off
Finished work is delivered every Friday, in your tools. Work waiting on your access, information or decisions for more than five working days moves the delivery date; the price does not change. You have five working days after delivery to tell us about anything that does not match the estimate, and we fix it at no charge. Anything that breaks against the agreed scope in the first 30 days is also fixed at no charge.
Cancelling
You may cancel before the start date for a full refund. After the start date, the first half is kept and the second half is due only for work delivered. Care can be cancelled at any time.
Ownership
Everything delivered is yours on payment, built in your accounts. We may describe the type of work we did for you, without confidential detail, unless you ask us not to.
Confidentiality and data
We treat your material as confidential and follow your data rules. We use AI tools to assist only where your rules allow; tell us if any material must not be processed by a third-party model.
Limits
We do not provide staff augmentation, data platform engineering, 24/7 support, penetration testing or legal advice. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the work concerned, or for the preceding three months of reserved days or Care.
